Frequently Asked Questions
What Types of Insurance Do Your Accept?
Please see our Patient’s Insurance Section. M&K Healthcare Clinics accepts a wide variety of insurances.
What Defines Chronic Pain?
This is pain that lasts for a long time without relief. Most common are spine problems, cancer and other long-term illnesses. Chronic pain can also result from injuries, like whiplash.
How much will I have to pay for a Normal Visit?
The amount that would be expected at the time of your visit is determined by the arrangement you have with your insurance company. We verify eligibility and copayment, coinsurance and deductible information. At the time of service we may ask you for payment of your copay and money toward your coinsurance or deductible amount as it relates to the charges of your visit.
How much does Stem Cell Treatment cost?
The investment will be between $4,000-$9,000 depending on what you need done. This is about 50% less than you will pay for stem cells anywhere else and these are the best stem cells you can use. Our doctors have made a pledge to partner with purpose to make this affordable to everyone.
Are these embryonic/fetal cells or where do the cells come from?
These are NOT fetal or embryonic cells. The stem cells come from donated umbilical cords that would have been thrown in the trash if not donated to help people just like yourself. Just as we would donate a kidney or other organs to help others.
Is Stem Cell Treatment covered by insurance?
No it is not. This is a cash service but will be less than most anyone’s deductible these days. So, rather than spend a deductible for surgery or other invasive, dangerous procedures, this is the way to go.
How long until I notice a difference with Stem Cell Treatment?
Expect to see improvement within 4-6 weeks, remember this is a individualized process and results generally long lasting.
Are Stem Cells/Is Stem Cell Therapy FDA Approved?
The Stem Cell Therapy is not FDA Approved and that is why we can’t make any claims or anything about the cells. But the tissue banks - the American Association of Tissue Banks, where we get our cells from are FDA Approved and monitored.
Is there a guarantee on Stem Cell Treatment?
No, it’s against the rules to guarantee anything that isn’t FDA approved. But, our doctors have very high success rates, it’s the best thing out there right now for this condition. And also, there is one guarantee - that if you do nothing, you will not have any change in your life or situation.
My doctor said that Stem Cells won’t work for me.
The reason they say that is because most people are getting amniotic stem cell treatments and they are not getting good results. They probably have patients that have not had the best experience and that is common when people don’t use umbilical cells...they don’t have the high success rate like we do.
